The Elephants Child Retell

There once was a elephant who asked really curious questions. In his family there was his mum, Aunt Hippopotamus,Uncle Baboon, Aunty Kuko bird and his Uncle Giraffe. The question he asked his mum was what do crocodiles have for dinner?. Then his mum would spank him. Then asked his Aunt Hippopotamus and he got another spank from his aunt. He asked Uncle Baboon,aunty bird and uncle giraffe and they all spanked him as well. They spanked him till he was red all over. After that they all said if you want to find out what they have for dinner. He had only a little nose. Yes I do. Well go to the river than and you will see replied his mum. So the elephants child set of on a journey to the river.

On the way to the river he walked past lots of trees. He took some food with him. All he took with him was 100 rockmelon, 10 coconuts and 40 bananas with him. He travelled a long way through the middle of Africa to get to the river.

On the way he meet a rock python snake was wrapped around a rock in the mud by the river. The elephant's child asked the rock python and said what do crocodiles have for dinner. The  elephants child spoke to the snake and said please don't spank me please I have been spanked by all of my family. Suddenly the rock python snake spanked the elephants child. The python said go over to the river and see for yourself.

So the elephants child did and he meet a crocodile. Then asked the crocodile what do you have for dinner asked the elephants child. The crocodile replied and said come a little closer. So the elephant's child did. The crocodile said come even closer and the elephant did come closer. Then again the elephant moved even closer. Once more again the elephant moved closer. The next second the crocodile snap his jaws wide open and got hold of the elephants childs little nose. Then both the crocodile and the elephant pulled. The elephants childs nose started to stretch more and more.Suddenly the rock python said to the elephant I will come and help you pull. They were both pulling so hard that the elephant nose was so sore it was red. Finally the crocodile let go of the elephants paw nose. He managed to get his nose out with the help of the rock python. Then thanked the python for helping him.

The python started to talk to the elephant and said look you have got advantages. The python said advantage number 1 you are spraying water on your back to keep you nice and cool. He could now also put on a mud cap on. Advantage number 2 you can grab leaves to eat of the trees. You couldn't do that before could you. No replied the elephants child. Once more the python said advantage number 3 now you can spank. Oh I can go and spank my family now because they spanked me hard. Now I will spank my family even harder than they did to me. So the elephants child set off back to where he came from. With him he took a lot of  leaves rock melon and some sugar cane He took lots of leaves and rockmelon, sugar cane with him on his journey back to where he had come from. After a long time crossing the middle of Africa he finally arrived home. He started to spank his aunt hippopotamus,uncle graffe, his mum and his uncle baboon. He didn't let anyone touch his aunty kuko bird. Then after that all his family wanted a nose like that. They all asked the elephant where did you get that nose from. The elephant replied saying go see the crocodile at the river where I walked to on the other side of Africa. So some of his family set off and went to the same river as he did. So now all the elephants you see now have a long nose which is called a trunk.

This is Jared reporting from studio.This is the big story of today. I have received this picture of this robot and a teddy bear. The bear is standing on a jettie, off this lovely beach. Have a look at this picture.  

This is the description of the robot and his teddy. The robot has some buttons on the front of him.  It has blue eyes, with white dots in the middle of the eyes, red hands, white over most of the body. The windup is grey. His teddy bear has a white cream color on his chest and stomach. He has brown feet and a stripe of white cream again. The rest of him is brown. Teddy has a black nose. The teddy also has black eyes with a white dot in the middle.

  The robot seems to be holding a teddy bear. If you look to the bottom of the picture you will see a reflection in the water. The reflection that you can see is a lego man in a suit with black stripes and four buttons. The lego man also has yellow hands. The lego man is smiling with his eyebrows up above his eyes. I think that the lego man is exactly the same as the robot with his teddy bear.. By the looks the man is holding a walking stick in his right hand. The lego man also has some spiky hair. The colour is brown. He is holding the same teddy bear as the wind up robot is.

In the water the lego man is standing on the same jettie as the wind up robot. The reflection looks like the sky is a fine day with no clouds. If you turn it around the other way it looks like the robot and his ted are up the right way.  

He could be dangerous so dont approach him. Call the police if you see him. He could just be on holiday.  He might just be having a day out at the beach. I don't know for sure. This is the end of the major story of the day. Now for the weather forecast. Good night.

Laser Tag

I was going to Palmerston North for my cousin's birthday. He was turning 13. So now he is a teenager now.  It is down the road from Daytona Go Karts. We were at Daytona Go Karts before laser tag. We eventually got to laser tag in Palmerston North.

Going were me, my two cousins and some of my cousins friends , my nana ,and my great aunty. I was playing with my cousins and their friends. All of us were going to play laser tag wanted 3 games and that was the maximum that we could have.” Ethan said ok then “ we will have 3 games.

Then we had to watch this video about how to play Laser Tag. We all sat down on seats to watch it. You had sensors on your stomach and both of your shoulders and one on your back. To hit them you had to shoot at those sensors. If your shoot them so manys times, you kill them at you get points for shooting them thats, if you kill them. Im not sure of how many points you get for killing them. I also think that you can get points for just hitting them. Im not quite sure on that.   There are two types of guns that you can choose from. They are the phaser that can shoot long range. The blaster which is used to shoot at close range. They all make sounds. Then if you shoot something it would give you a machine gun. To operate it you had to put your hand under it near the top of the gun. Then you could shoot. It ended.

Then me and my cousins and friends walked into this room with all the vests with the guns hanging on the side by a cable. A man came along with this device, and waved it in front of us and it gave us what teams that we were on. I wasn't sure what it was I was blue and the other team was red. On my team was Ethan and his friend. The other team was just Jatin and Ethan friend,s sister. The man told us to walk through this door that had red led lights that were around the outside of the door. You had names like mine was Torpedo, Ethans was Ace and his friends sisters name was Batman. Ethans friends name was Bubble. Then it started to countdown 5 4 3 2 1 0 and then the game started. I was like ohhhh its about to start in my head. Then it started.

Everything was dark black with a outlined with the colour range of yellow,  red, green, orange and blue. It must have been glow paint. Even though it was hard to hide from the other team I still managed to hide. Then I scored 2200 points I think it was in the first game. One dumb thing about it was sometimes they would put you on another team which was stink. Ethan and his friend beat me and his friends sister. I beat his sister 400 points.

Sometimes you would hit your own teammate by accident. The next game I hid behind a wall and I was like a sniper trying to shoot the other team. I was just sitting on the ground to shoot. A few times Ethan’s friend and his sister would come by and I would shoot from behind. Then they would run away and hid again so I would have to find them again. At the end of the game I managed to beat my score of 2200 points. The score was 3400. I thought to myself I must be getting better at laser tag.

Colour Days

Monday is red, because it is time to go to school and start another week.   

Tuesday is black, getting better at least it is not Monday.    

Wednesday is green, half way through the week.

Thursday is orange nearly there, one more day after today left of school.

Friday is yellow, because it is the last day of school that week.

Saturday is blue, yes it is the weekend today, finally I have got a game of soccer to play.  

Sunday is grey, yes I get to sleep in this morning.

Flaxrock

It was morning tea time. We were playing handball just outside the classroom. I was playing with Ben ,Liam and some other people in the class. Then Mr M told us to come inside and sit down on the mat. Most of the parents were in the classroom. Then Mr M told us our traveling groups and who we were going with. I was going with Camerons mum. There were three other people that was coming with me Cameron and his mum. They were Brayden and Ezra. We were going in Camerons mums car. It is a blue Toyota Camry.

Flaxrock is in Flaxmere behind the Flaxmere library and pools. It is in the Flaxmere community centre. We drove to the end of Howard Street and then turned left on to Windsor Ave. Ave stands for avenue. Then turned right to go down st Aubyn Street. Then we turned left on to Sylvan Street. Then to the round about on Heretaunga street. Straight a little bit then down Riverslea Road. Murdoch Road then to the end of Murdoch road. Then on to Southampton Street. Then we drove down Wall road and then on to Maraekakaho Road. Then turned right on to York Road and some other streets that I didn't know the names. Then the last street was Swansea Street. Then up the driveway and then to the park in the carpark at the back. Then we walk to the entrance. We were waiting for Mr M to come. Then he got to flaxrock and he parked his Subaru Legacy.

Then we walk to the entrance. It was the first time that I have ever been to Flaxrock. Then Mr M went and talked to them to see if we had come to the right place. And it turns out that we had come to the right place. Then we walked inside and wiped our feet on the mat. Then walked through two hallways. We walked past the gym. There was some people in the gym were lifting some heavy weights that looked really heavy. Some others were on the treadmill.

Then we finally walked into Flaxrock. Then I looked up and I was thinking in my head and I was saying to myself wow this is not what I imaged it would be in my head. Then the whole of room 6 sat down on some wooden seats that I think they were welded to the ground by the looks of things. They looked like grandstands at the speedway ,but they weren't though. Then we got told to be quiet by Mr M. Then Aaron was talking to us about the rules and what to do. Aaron is the instructor that was there that day. He said if you touch the top of the wall you have to hit the metal pipe so that everyone could hear that you had reached the top on the climbing wall. I didn't do it. Instead I took photos of all the other people rock climbing. It was good fun taking photos of everyone else. My favourite thing was taking photos of all the people rock climbing. The challenging part was taking photos when they were at the top of the wall. The proud part was taking photos that were of people that were right at the top or near the top of the wall.

This is my number art. I used to do the outside with orange color pencil. The white,black and grey are pastels. The green is leaf green dye. The number 5 is my number for our number off. The colors represent the colors of koala. The green stands for the eucalyptus leaves that koalas eat.

I am most looking forward to cooking because I look forward to seeing what food we make.    

I am disappointed by the waka because I looked forward to riding on the waka.  

The best thing about my tribe so far is the name because it is different and it is a fruit which is delicious.   

My group struggles with decisions.We can improve this by making one decision and sticking with it.

My favourite challenge so far has been the voting I liked it because it was really interesting to see who will get the most votes.

My idea for a tribal challenge is to eat as many bowls of spaghetti and tomato sauce.

BROKEN

I got out a glass cup out from the cupboard. Then I walked outside with it to the back step. It was a nice sunny day that day. It had was filled with water all the way to the top of the cup. Tea water was nice and cold because it was out of the fridge. The color of the glass cup was red with yellow dots on it. The top and bottom were just clear glass. They were tall cups. The cups were from Mcdonalds. Then the next minute it fell down of the step and flowed down the steps like it was a river and then stopped finally at the bottom of the steps which was concrete and there was some grass as well.  I thought to myself that i'm going to be in big trouble because I broke the cup. The water came washing down the steps and I thought to myself I'm going to be in deep trouble now. Then I tried to clean it up but I got caught by my mum. She said that it was das glass cup with red and yellow with yellow dots. I'm really going to be in deep trouble now because it was my dads cup. Mum and dad have one each. Mums cup was still in good nick. Then she growled at me, and I said it was just an accident so then she replied ok then it was an accident then. I was only at kindergarten when this happened and this was after kindergarten. I thought I would get a smack from my dad when he got home from work, but in the end I just got a big growling from my dad. He was really angry because of that. IIt made he even angrier than he was because he had a bad day at work where he was working at. After it was tea time. I ate my tea at the table with mum, my dad and my baby sister. After tea I watched a bit of tv and then I walked and got into my bed and went to sleep. Then I woke up in the morning and it was back to normal again. My dad had gone to work and it was just me and my mum home until I go to kindergarten. Then it was   time to walk to kindergarten which was just down the road from my house. It was down the road around a corner and cross a road and then I would be at kindergarten.
