59.5 Degrees Summarise

A ARGO is a floating object with all sorts of gadgets. It descends around 6 hours then stops at 1000 meters. Then it drifts for 9 days. Then it goes down another 1000 meters to get to 2000. Then it collects the data for about 6 hours. Then bounces back up to the surface to send the information to the satellite. It sends information for about 12 hours. Then from the satellite it goes to the receiving station and database. Anyone can access the ARGO database
Facts about the Argo. The ARGO weighs 40 kilograms. It costs around 19,000 dollars each. Its height is 1.2 meters tall. Life span is up to 5 years. The ARGO is made in three countries that are France, Germany and United States of America.

The things that make a ARGO move and collect information.
It has Satellite Antenna, Temperature probe, Circuit board and satellite transmitter, Stability disk, Gear motor, Battery, Hydraulic pump (piston), Hydraulic fluid. The colors of the ARGO is black and yellow.

59.5 degrees means the angle of the Regular float or Float with ice sensor. The Regular float is a red dots and the float with ice sensor is a triangle.

ARGOS are a very special device that measure temperature and salinity of seawater. In September 2012 there were more than 3500 active ARGOS floats in the world oceans. They are provided valuable information to all kinds of scientists in many different countries. Some floats  are released for big ship containers.

Paddock 5 Senses

I could taste the fresh air. The taste of the wood was sweet. The wood felt like sandpaper when I licked it. I could touch the grass it felt moist and soft . I could smell the moisture lurking in the air. I could taste the fence it tasted like cold metallic that had a few drips of water. The grass was frosty because Jack Frost had been. I could see trees, some were green and some were yellow and orange. I also saw some palms the were a nice bright green. Behind the trees I could see Te Mata Peak and all the surrounding hills. Some had little patches of green  grass and some had big patches. Some even have gigantic patches of pine trees. The color of the trees is a black brownish color. I could see all sorts of cars they were a Suzuki Swift, Toyota Corolla, Mitsubishi Diamante, Mazda Cx 9, Toyota Caravan, Holden Commodore and a Mitsubishi Evo 10. Evo is short for Evolution.

I could see the giant laying dead and still as a rock on the top of Te Mata Peak. I could hear the sound of a plane. It was noisy and sounded like it was about to take off from the airport. I could see a bird it was squawking as it was flying. In the distance back towards school I could see a corn field that was not quite ripe. In the paddock I could see horses running around. They were a golden brown with a black golden brown wiry tail and mane. Some had white coats on that covered there back and there neck. The houses on the other side of Howard Street from the paddocks were made out of white whether boards of black and red bricks. On the other side of the first wire fence is an electric fence which I got a shock from but I didn't touch it though. I could tell that it was an electric fence because it had a yellow plastic handle thing on it. Under the line of electric wire by the wood post was two black rubbish bags. I could tell that they were full of rubbish. They were bulging out from the sides front and back.

Fun Swimming Sports

Sitting waiting for my turn to go in the fun relays in the pool. In my team there was William,me, Ollie and some other girl which I didn't know her name. I was in team 3  Pukeko.

While I was waiting I could see the trees that are by the pool they were swaying gently in the breeze. I could see water splashing against the edge of the pool. Behind the seats that the teams and some parents is a fence. The fence is metal  that has little spikes on the top and is the color silver.  I heard people cheering for their team and their house color.

Later on the it got really sunny and I could feel the sun heating up on my back. It felt nice but then it got a bit too hot so I turned around for a little bit. Also while I was waiting I could smell the chlorine in the pool.

I could hear people cheering for their team and also there house color. While I was going to get in the pool I felt the concrete it was rough. Finally it was my turn to get in the pool it was freezing like ice cubes had been poured into the pool.

Then the wind came up, I could taste the dust  that the wind had blown up. We I got into the pool I could taste the water and the chlorine in the water which was yuck. Then I had a sore throat and  it didn't help swallowing the water with the chlorine because it made my throat worse. First was flutter boards then noodles. After those activities it was the penny dive which we were diving for plastic coins. Each one that we got would be a point for our house color so if you were in red it would be a point for them. Then we got out of the pool it was team 4’s turn from all the house  colours. I felt a bit nervous and excited when we started. At the end of the day it felt good doing some swimming that day.

A Scene

My scene: I smell the deer blood. It smelled like something that had died and that's how I like it. I was sprinting after my prey at a speed of  50 km an hour.  I have to give up on that deer it was just too fast for me. If I hadn't given up I would have lost all my energy and it would take me a long time to get my energy back. I'm hiding in the long grass I can smell the fresh meat of the deer. I get ready to pounce and I pounce on the deer and only managed to get the deer. It the same one I was chasing earlier. I start eating the meat of the deer it is so delicious it is so juicy and so tender. It is a bit chewy in every bit of the meat. I'm still hungry so i'm hide in the long grass again im there for about 15 minutes then I hear a rustling noise and stick my head out of the grass a little bit and it is another its another deer so I creep up on it and I get it. It tastes exactly like the other deer. The deer feels hairy like a rabbit with a lot of hair on it. The deer’s hair was soft and it was all jagged everywhere on the deer's body.
